Swedish / Relaxation Massage
The most common type of massage is Swedish massage therapy. It involves soft, long, kneading strokes, as well as light, rhythmic, tapping strokes, on topmost layers of muscles. This is also combined with movement of the joints. By relieving muscle tension, Swedish therapy can be both relaxing and energizing.
Relaxation massage can be used to promote general well-being and enhance self-esteem, while boosting the circulatory and immune systems to benefit blood pressure, circulation, muscle tone, digestion and skin tone.
Therapeutic Deep Tissue
Deep tissue massage is a type of massage therapy that focuses on re-aligning deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. It is especially helpful for chronically tense and contracted areas such as stiff necks, low back tightness, and sore shoulders. Some of the same strokes are used as classic massage therapy, but the movement is slower and the pressue is deeper and concentrated on areas of tension and pain.
It's important to note that one session might not be enough to alleviate all of your symptoms. Work with your massage therapist to help you better understand what can be done on a daily basis to improve muscle conditions; and to schedule the appropriate number of massages required for your specific needs.
Hot Stone Therapy Massage
Hot stone massage is a specialty massage that uses smooth, heated stones. They are often basalt, a black volcanic rock that absorbs and retains heat well. It is a deeply soothing, relaxing form of massage. The heat helps tight muscles release so you may better benefit from the massage techniques used by your therapist.
The therapist uses traditional strokes of Swedish massage while holding a heated stone. As the stone cools, the therapist replaces it with another. The therapist might also have heated stones in specific points along your spine, or in the palms of your hand, or even between your toes to improve the flow of energy in your body.
Aromatherapy means “treatment using scents”. It is a holistic treatment of caring for the body with pleasant smelling botanitcal oils such as rose, lemon, lavender and peppermint. The essential oils are massaged into the skin, inhaled directly or diffused to scent an entire room. Aromatherapy is used for the relief of pain, care for the skin, to ease tension and invigorate the entire body. Essential oils can affect your mood, alleviate fatigure, reduce anxiety and promote relaxation. When inhaled, they work on the brain and nervous system through stimulation of the olfactory nerves.
Enjoy this massage with a friend, family member, or spouse in a relaxing room designed for two.
Two people are massaged in the same room, at the same time, by two different therapists. This customized massage will be performed for each person and may be booked for 30-minutes or more. This is our most popular service for friends & family and can be done in separate rooms too, if requested.

Incorporating Soma CUPPING THERAPY into your regular massage session has endless benefits. The therapy you saw Michael Phelps receive in the 2016 Olympic Games is specifically designed for thick, trained muscles - an actual machine was used to achieve suction for his body type. The Cupping Therapy uses a soft suction which will NOT leave circular marks (in most cases) designed to gently pull muscle and fascia away from the bone; achieving deep tissue massage without harsh pressure. The negative pressure allows RA patients, post-surgery, and others who cannot receive deep tissue massage, the ability to enjoy the results as if they had. The suction and negative pressure provided by Cupping can also loosen muscles, clear neuromuscular congestion, encourage blood flow, and sedate the nervous system (which makes it an excellent treatment for high blood pressure). Cupping is used to relieve back and neck pains, stiff, spasmodio and cramping muscles, anxiety, fatigue, migraines, rheumatism, and even cellulite, stretch marks, and post-surgery adhesion's.
The massage cups are made of hypoallergenic silicone, they contain NO latex or other products of any kind. It is said that 5 min. of CUPPING is equivalent to 30 min. of deep tissue.
